This page explains how to delete your Stunio account, what happens to your data, and what we are required to retain.
How to delete your account
You can delete your Stunio account directly in the app. Open the app, go to Settings, and tap the Delete Account button at the bottom of the page.
If you are unable to access the app, you can also request deletion by emailing help@stunio.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." We will verify your identity and process the request.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, your account and profile data are deleted or de-identified and removed from the app, archived for 30 days, and then permanently deleted. This includes:
- Your profile information (name, contact details, skills, preferences)
- Your account credentials
- Your work history and shift records within the app
- Communications and support history tied to your account
What we are required to retain
Certain payment and tax records are maintained separately and cannot be deleted on request, because we are legally required to keep them. As a payer of record for work performed through the platform, we retain transaction and tax records — including 1099 filings and related information — to comply with IRS and other legal obligations. These records are held only for legal, tax, and audit compliance and are retained for the period required by applicable law.
